Dear Owners,

 

The Board of Directors has received a petition signed by owners representing at least 5% of the votes in the community, requesting a special meeting of members.  The purpose of the meeting is “To consider and vote upon the recall of one or more members of the Gleneagle Civic Association Board of Directors”.   Pursuant to Colorado law, the Board is obligated to call this meeting and provide you with notice thereof.  

 

The purpose of the special meeting will be to conduct a vote of owners deciding whether or not to remove each director on the Board, and if any or all directors are removed, to elect replacement directors to fill the vacancies for the remainder of those terms. 

 

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 6:30 p.m., with sign-in beginning at 6:00pm.  The meeting will be held at the Antelope Trails Elementary School located at 15280 Jessie Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80921.

 

A meeting agenda is enclosed and all Owners are encouraged to attend the meeting. Owners wishing to speak at the meeting will be given the opportunity to do so. 

 

In order for a Board member to be recalled, Owners representing at least 20% of the total votes in the Association must be present at the meeting to constitute a quorum.  Assuming quorum is achieved, Owners representing at least a majority of the votes present, and entitled to vote, must vote in favor of removal.
